Business Crime Week- Trading Standards in Stone

Today, Stone local Officers assisted Trading Standards this afternoon to act on reports of counterfeit products being sold in the area. The 2025 Safer Business Action (SaBA) Week in Staffordshire takes place this week and is part of a national initiative to tackle retail crime, anti-social behavior, and other crimes impacting businesses in local communities. The event will involve collaboration between Business Crime Reductions Partnerships (BCRPs), Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), and the private security industry to address prolific offenders, offer crime prevention advice, and conduct joint patrols. The week aims to build long-term engagement and trust with local businesses and is expected to result in over 750 arrests across the country.
