Reminding people of the dangers of entering abandoned buildings.

We are reminding people of the potential dangers of entering abandoned and derelict buildings. As we have had reports of youths entering buildings round the town that are unsafe.

Some buildings have been emptied for years and may not be a safe place for anybody to enter. Many derelict buildings are unstable, with unsafe floors, electrical works and other hazards. This could lead to serious injury or death.

If you know your child is entering any abandoned buildings, then please talk to them regarding the dangers of them hurting themselves or others.
