KEEPING YOUR PROPERTY SAFE WHEN AWAY

Due to a recent burglary in the area while residents were away, let's make it harder for these individuals to be able to get into our homes and cause us so much upset and distress.

If you get on with your neighbours, see if they can keep an eye out and possibly park their car in your drive, if they have 2 that is, and if they can take in any parcels that you may be expecting. Also asking family members to nip round or stay is another option.

Make sure your alarms and CCTV are working and if they can alert you on your mobile, make sure that you have the notifications on. There are many, not too expensive, cameras out there so it may be  practical to invest in some. Simple items like timers for lights can be easily set up to come on at any time of the day.
