We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Rugeley. 

We were called at 7.35am this morning (Thursday 5 December) to reports of a collision involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a blue VW Transporter on the A460 at the junction of Stile Cop Road. 

Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene. His family are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the VW sustained minor injuries.

We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.
