A boy has been arrested after officers investigating drug supply and violence in Tamworth found cash and a mobile phone.

Just after 3pm on Monday (7 April) our major and organised crime proactive team arrested a boy in Shard End, Birmingham.

Following a search, cash and a mobile phone were found.

A boy, 17, from the Birmingham area, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, acquiring criminal property and obstructing a constable.

He has been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
