On the 02/05/2025 at around 23:35hrs there has been a report from East Midlands Airport that someone is shining a laser beam at approaching aircraft as they are landing. Please report any incidents you see of lasers being shined up towards aircraft that you see to police. Shining a laser at aircraft in the UK carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and potentially unlimited fines. The Laser Misuse (Vehicles) Act 2018. Thank you for your support.
