Good morning everyone, 

Neighbourhood Watch 

When I first commenced this work with Staffordshire Smart Alerts, one of the key aims was creating a service that helps residents in Trentham & Hanford feel safer, more reassured and that improves the service that the Neighbourhood Policing Team delivers. 

Over the past few weeks I have been developing ideas for a Neighbourhood Watch project for the area and I am now really happy to announce that this week the project has begun. 

It will be a long term project, where I will be working with residents to create Neighbourhood Watch Zones in as many locations throughout Trentham & Hanford as possible.

Through this project, I hope to hold Neighbourhood Watch meetings, launch Neighbourhood Watch events and raise awarness of the help and support available to residents from other agencies. 

I am very happy to announce that the following streets are now Neighbourhood Watch Zones…

*Richmond Road

*Barnwell Grove

*Belvedere Road

*Renfrew Place

*Carrick Pl

*Turnberry Drive

My aim is to create new zones every month. If you would like to add your address to any of the zones, please visit www.ourwatch.org.uk and if you would like your street to be a zone or have any questions about Neighbourhood Watch, please reply to this or any message.

   Virtual Suggestion Box 

I want this service to be very community focused, utilising your suggestions, your ideas and your feedback to help build a better service - positive or negative, your opinion matters. 

I am always trying to work on ways the Neighbourhood Policing Team can engage with the community and that's why I want this ‘virtual suggestion box’ to be always open. Therefore, on this or any message sent in the future, please reply with anything you can think of that will help this service to grow and develop.

I have already seen some really positive differences and I want to thank you for your help and support. Lets make a better service today ready for tomorrow and the future ahead!! 

I am currently on patrol on the A34 Stone Road looking into concerns raised that vehicles were not stopping for the red lights on the crossings.
