Man charged with burglary and theft offences

A man has been charged with burglary and theft offences in Stoke-on-Trent.

John Jason Smith, 30, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary and theft.

It comes after an estimated £5,000-worth of copper piping was stolen from a house in Meir on 11 June and a CCTV camera was stolen in Stoke-on-Trent on 15 June.

Smith is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 25 July 2025.
