If you are reading this you will be on the Smart Alert system as a recipient of our  Smart Alerts and messages. The Smart Alert system has proven a very effective way to communicate with our communities regarding appeals for information with local crime, vehicle thefts, burglaries and other crimes that really effect the residents of our communities, inform you of Police events and make CCTV and information appeals .Over the past few years, I regularly ask for CCTV, information etc and the appeals have made, often lead to positive leads and enquiries.  Quite often the Smart Alerts are sent out immediately after a crime has been committed, giving you information,  and making you aware of what to look out for etc, which over the years has proved very beneficial to our residents.
