APPEAL FOLLOWING RTC - PENKRIDGE BANK ROAD, RUGELEY

We are appealing for information after a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car which didn’t stop in Rugeley recently. 

We were called at 5.15pm on Friday (4 July) to Penkridge Bank Road at the junction of Marquis Drive following reports of a collision. A black Volkswagen Golf is believed to have been involved in the collision, before leaving the scene in the direction of Cannock.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital having sustained serious head, facial and torso injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

A man handed himself in to police a short time later.
