Five arrested following motorcycle thefts

Five people have been arrested following a series of motorbike thefts in Stoke-on-Trent.

Between Wednesday 2 July and Thursday 5 July, a number of mopeds and motorbikes were stolen from around the city. 

Following an investigation by our City Proactive team, a 22-year-old man, two 17-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. A 14-year-old boy, also from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit vehicle theft.  

They all remain in police custody for questioning.
