TEAM WORK RESULTS IN ARREST

#Arrest | Last night, @southstaffspolice PCSO's Millichap and Jones from were out on proactive patrol in #Huntington when they witnessed a suspected drug deal taking place.

With support from the @cannockpolice neighbourhood policing team, the male involved was quickly located and detained. A search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act led to the discovery of controlled substances, and he was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. 

A special thank you also to the members of the public who assisted officers in stopping the male in his tracks.

The individual remains in custody and is awaiting questioning.
