BB gun seized following 999 call

A bb-gun has been seized after officers responded to a 999 call in Stoke-on-Trent.

We were called to Erskine Street in Longton, at 12.50pm today (Monday 15 September) following a report that two people had a gun in the street.

Armed officers were quickly sent to the scene to search for the suspects.

Two teenage boys were spoken to and a bb gun was handed over and seized.

Firearms officers have left the scene and the investigation will be dealt with by neighbourhood officers.
