MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES |

A man had been charged with several offences after officers found drugs and mobiles phones in Cannock.
Steven Dawkins, 34, of no fixed address, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of amphetamine, being concerned in the supply of ecstasy, two counts of using a vehicle on a road without third party insurance, taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, two counts of driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
It comes after four separate incidents in Stafford and Cannock between Saturday 12 July and Wednesday (10 September).
At 2am on July 12, we were told that a car had been stolen from a property in Stafford.
The vehicle was recovered later the same day.
On 19 July, a vehicle failed to stop for officers in Stoke-on-Trent following reports of a disturbance in Stafford.
Then, on Tuesday 22 July, officers stopped and searched a man at an address in Stafford and found cash and a mobile phone.
Finally, on Tuesday 9 September, proactive officers approached a stationary car in Cannock and found more mobile phones, scales, plastic bags and drugs.
Dawkins was due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday (11 September). | ||
