Violence Against Women and Girls – Week of Action
PCSOs Engage with Sixth Form Students in CheadleAs part of our continued commitment to tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), Staffordshire Police have been taking part in a Week of Action to raise awareness, provide support, and engage with local communities. Earlier this week, PCSOs Gorman and Waters visited Painsley Sixth Form Centre in Cheadle, where they spoke to students about VAWG, personal safety, and how the police respond to incidents of abuse. Students were introduced to helpful tools such as the HollieGuard app – a free personal safety app that can notify emergency contacts if someone feels at risk.
