Man arrested on suspicion of drug offences

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences following a suspected drug deal in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers acting on intelligence stopped a man following a hand-to-hand exchange on Club Street in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (Monday 20 October).

A later search of an associated address revealed a quantity of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and £5,000 in cash and three mobile phones.

An 18-year-old man, of Lancashire, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

He has been released on conditional police bail while our inquiries continue.
