Whether you're out trick-or-treating or staying in, here are some important tips and reminders to help keep everyone safe: š» For Trick-or-Treaters & Parents: Stay visible: Wear bright costumes or add reflective tape. Carry a torch or glow sticks.Stick together: Children should always be accompanied by a trusted adult. Older kids should stay in groups and keep to well-lit areas.Check treats: Only accept sweets from trusted homes. Avoid anything unwrapped or homemade unless you know the source.Respect boundaries: If a house has no decorations or lights off, skip itāsome residents may not wish to participate.Be road smart: Use pavements, cross at designated crossings, and avoid running across roads.š For Residents: Signal you're taking part: If you're happy to welcome trick-or-treaters, turn on your outside light and consider adding decorations or a pumpkin to show you're joining in.Prefer not to take part?
