Cocaine and cannabis dealer jailed |
||
|
A cocaine and cannabis dealer in Cannock has been jailed after being stopped by major and organised crime officers.
Jack Girvan, 29, of Cannock, has been sentenced to four years in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday (23 October) after he admitted being concerned in the officer to supply cocaine, being concerned in making of an offer to supply to another a controlled drug of class B – cannabis and possessing criminal property.
He was stopped while driving a car in Chadsmoor in April last year. Officers searched him and found £688 in cash, as well as cannabis and phones inside the car.
When we looked at the phones, we found evidence they were being used to advertise the sale of cocaine and cannabis in local communities.
Under Operation Target, we’ve been going after those involved in high-harm offences in Staffordshire, including drug dealing, criminal exploitation, firearms offences and more.
