#VisibleLocalTrusted | Today, local officers continued their #HotSpot patrols across in Cannock & Rugeley.

Beginning their shift in Rugeley, they engaged with local residents, and businesses, addressing a number of issues affecting the local community before moving over to Cannock in the afternoon to continue these positive interactions.

Hotspot patrols remain a vital part of neighbourhood policing. By focusing on areas with a history of crime or antisocial behaviour, our officers can:

- Reassure the community and build public confidence
- Deter criminal activity through a visible police presence
- Respond quickly to emerging issues and gather valuable intelligence
- Strengthen relationships with local businesses and residents
- Support long-term problem solving by identifying patterns and working with partners to address root causes
