                 Appeal following knifepoint robbery  |

                 We are appealing for information following a robbery in Newcastle-under-Lyme. At around 8.30am today (Monday 3 November), a 12-year-old boy was walking along St George’s Avenue North, Wolstanton, when a man on a bike threatened him with a knife before stealing his mobile phone. The child was not injured. The man is described as around 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans and riding a black and green BMX-style bike. Our investigation is ongoing.
