MALE ARRESTED FOR DRUG AND DRIVING OFFENCES

On 01/11/2025 at around 22:35 we were called to Church Street, Tamworth Town Centre following a report of a car parked in such a manner that it was causing an obstruction and the male driver was refusing to move and becoming abusive towards other members of the public.

Officers attended and located the vehicle and male in question. A roadside drug swipe was conducted and the male tested positive for cannabis. He was also found to be in possession of cannabis.

The 33 year old male, from Tamworth, was arrested for possession of a class B drug and drug driving. He has since been released on bail.
