A man has been charged after £4,500-worth of goods were stolen from shops in north Staffordshire. Omarion Tyrees Thomas, 20, from London, has been charged with three counts of theft from a shop and one count of going equipped for theft. It comes after officers on #problemsolvingpolicing patrols in Newcastle town centre on Wednesday (5 November) responded to reports of a theft. Thomas appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Thursday 6 November) and was released on bail with conditions ahead of a hearing at the same court on Friday 8 May 2026. | ||
