BOY & MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS OFFENCES |

A teenager and a man have been arrested after we carried out stop-searches in Tamworth. Just after 3pm on Wednesday (5 November), officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped and searched two people in the town. They discovered heroin, crack cocaine, cash and a phone. Another phone was recovered later. A 17-year-old boy, from the Oldbury area, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis/cannabis resin). He has been released on conditional bail. A 52-year-old man, from the Tamworth area, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine). He has been released under investigation.
