RUGELEY DRUG DEALER JAILED

A man has been jailed after he admitted to the supply of cocaine across Rugeley. 

Marius Gheorghe, 23, of no fixed address, was sentenced to two-years-and-four-months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, supplying a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance. 

On Wednesday 23 July, Gheorghe was driving a black Golf in Etchinghill when he was stopped by officers. 

Officers searched the car and found approximately £610-worth of cocaine in the centre console as well as £210 in cash. 

When Gheorghe was interviewed in custody, he admitted that he had been selling cocaine in the Rugeley area for around two weeks.
