Incident 666 of 14/11

We are appealing for information following a Burglary and theft from a vehicle on Tean Road, Cheadle.

On 14 November, a woman returned home after travelling from Leek and appears to have been followed by a silver Mercedes. When she arrived at her property, the suspects smashed the rear rear-passenger windows of her vehicle and stole three jewellery cabinets. Two cabinets were recovered at the scene, but one—containing jewellery valued at around £20,000—was taken.

We are asking residents and local businesses to review any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident, particularly for sightings of a silver Mercedes acting suspiciously.

If you become aware of any shops, traders or individuals suddenly offering or possessing jewellery that seems unusual or out of place, please let us know.
