Man charged with burglary

A man has been charged with burglary offences after we responded to an incident in Stoke-on-Trent.

James Corcoran, 45, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary dwelling – with intent to steal.

It comes after we responded to a report of burglary at an address in Blurton at about 3.50am on Tuesday (18 November).  

Corcoran is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 20 November).

Across Staffordshire, we’ve been working hard to tackle burglary in local communities, which has resulted in a 27 per cent reduction in the number of incidents between August this year, when compared to the year before.
