Vehicle theft opportunity

On the theme of my previous smart alert a few months ago, there has been a propensity for drivers setting off to work or early shopping during the frosty nights/ mornings, to leave the vehicle running to defrost the car windscreen and warm up the interior. The driver then goes inside and whilst away from the car it gets stolen. I have noted in just this last week this is still happening a lot more than it should. 

We all know that there are persons with criminal intent roaming the streets awaiting the opportunity, with your assistance, to steal the car. If this happens you're insurance company will not pay out.

If you are popping into a shop and will only be a couple of minutes please switch of you're engine lock you're car and take you're valuables with you. Leaving Bags, Purses, Wallets in view will only tempt would be thieves.

Please stay safe from being a victim of crime over this festive period.
