Four arrested following vehicle pursuit

Three men and a boy have been arrested after drugs were seized following a vehicle pursuit in Stoke-on-Trent. 

At around 5am on Friday (21 November), a black car failed to stop for officers in Cobridge. Officers followed the vehicle until it came to a stop on Hope Street, Hanley. 

Those inside the car tried to flee the scene but were located close by. 

When the car was searched, officers seized mobile phones, a large quantity of cash and cannabis.

A 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.

A 23-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.

A 17-year-old boy, and a 22-year-old man, both from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop. 

They have all been released under investigation.
