ASB and Criminal damage in Winshill

We have seen an increase recently in reports of young people involved in ASB, causing criminal damage to property including via the use of fireworks.

Specifically, we are asking local residents for any CCTV footage that may capture an incident that took place within the vicinity of Texaco Garage on Ashby Road during the early hours of 24th November.

At approximately 03:05 hours, two youths approach an address, cause damage to a vehicle parked on a private driveway and proceed to smash a downstairs window, throwing in a lit firework. Thankfully no injuries were reported. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have knowledge around who these youths are, or anyone that may have CCTV that captures the two males at the time of the incident in or around the area. Males appear to be young, dressed all in dark coloured clothing with hoods up. They arrive on foot heading from the direction of Bretby Golf Course and they leave on foot in the direction of Brizlincote Valley.
