Two men have been charged as part of our ongoing efforts to tackle shoplifting as part of our #problemsolvingpolicing patrols in Staffordshire. A 42-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been charged with seven counts of theft from a shop and one count of burglary other than dwelling. It comes after £1,840-worth of goods were stolen from shops in Stoke-on-Trent between Saturday 1 November and Tuesday 18 November. He has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 6 January. A 21-year-old man, from Berry Hill, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with one count of theft from a shop and two counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO). It comes after goods were stolen from a shop in Bentilee on Thursday 6 November. He has been released on bail with conditions ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday 4 December. #VisibleLocalTrusted | ||
