STOLEN VEHICLE FOUND IN STONYDELPH

We have recovered a stolen vehicle which was abandoned in Tamworth recently.

Officers were on patrol in Stonydelph at around 3.40am on Friday (28 November) when they noticed a black Audi A3 with damage to its interior.

We approached the vehicle and realised it had been abandoned and left unlocked.

Checks revealed it had been reported stolen from Tamworth in April this year.

We arranged recovery of the vehicle while our inquiries are continuing.
