We’ve received reports of parcels being stolen from doorsteps and communal areas. Thieves often target deliveries left unattended—especially during busy shopping periods.
✅ Security Tips to Protect Your Parcels
1. Track Your Deliveries
Use courier tracking apps and enable notifications so you know exactly when your parcel arrives.
2. Choose Safe Delivery Options
· Deliver to a trusted neighbour.
· Use Click & Collect or locker services for extra security.
3. Install a Door Camera
Video doorbells or CCTV can deter thieves and provide vital evidence if needed.
4. Avoid Leaving Parcels Outside
If you’re not home, request redelivery or specify a safe place that’s out of sight.
5. Report Suspicious Activity
If you notice anyone acting suspiciously around properties, report it immediately via 101 or online. |
