Stolen trailer recovered just over Staffordshire border

On Friday 12th December, we received a report of a stolen Ifor Williams trailer from Crab Lane in Bobbington. This occurred approx 1150hrs and it was reported to be going towards Highgate Common.

The trailer was quickly found dumped in Kingswinford by West Midlands Police officers and Staffordshire officers, along with the victim, attended the location to retrieve the trailer.

Please take this opportunity to review your security around any trailers - and other vehicles such as quad bikes, ATVs, telehandlers and all farm or agricultural vehicles. Ensure they are locked and keys removed every time the vehicle is not in use and consider putting away out of sight at night. Consider either securing to the floor or blocking in with other larger vehicles or machinery.
