Man arrested after cannabis grow found |

A man has been arrested after a cannabis grow was found in south Staffordshire. Officers were responding to poaching concerns around Port Lane, Brewood, yesterday (Monday 15 December), when they stopped a black car. When officers approached the vehicle, the driver drove away at speed. Officers went to a house in Wolverhampton shortly after and found a cannabis grow, several mobile phones and around £10,000 in cash. A 51-year-old man, from Wolverhampton, has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant a class B drug, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B, driving whilst under the influence of drugs, drink driving, failing to stop and failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He remains in custody for questioning. | ||
