MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES

A man has been charged after we found heroin and cash following searches in Rugeley.

Douglas Philip Cox, 56, of Rugeley, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession of criminal property.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime team carried out a search in the area yesterday (Tuesday 16 December).

Cox appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Wednesday 17 December) and has been remanded ahead of his next appearance at Stafford Crown Court on 16 January 2026.
