Bogus Traders Alrewas

Dear All

Potential scam - Traders acting as a roofing company from Branston, B-O-T have been reported to police regarding an incident in Chaseview Road, Alrewas.  The individuals concerned approached a residents property at around noon on the 22/12/2025, and climbed onto the residents property claiming the lining of the roof needed repairing.  A quote was offered to the home owner, however it was quickly declined.  If any one has any information relating to this incident, please contact Staffs Police on 101 or via our website www.staffordshire.police.uk  quoting serial 244 22/12/2025.

Remember never be rushed or pressured into making a decision.

Listen to your instincts, if something feels wrong then it is usually right to question something and or decline.

Stay in control, have the confidence to refuse requests as its easy to feel embarrassed when faced with unexpected or complex conversations. But its okay to stop the discussion if you do not feel in control of it.
