Close and lock your windows and doors – no matter how long you’re away from your vehicle

Keep valuable items out of view or in the boot – never leave them on the seats or in the footwell

Park your car on the drive or in a well-lit area. If you’re going out, always try and park in a secure car park.

If you have a keyless car, consider using a Faraday bag (a signal blocker) to store your keys when not in use

Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to us - from strangers being seen frequently on doorbell footage or CCTV, to vehicles you don’t recognise driving up and down roads repeatedly.

There are several ways you can help deter thieves such as installing a doorbell camera, outdoor lights with sensors and alarms, locking windows and doors and keeping curtains or blinds closed at night.
