MALE ARRESTED FOR DRUG DRIVING

On 02/01/2026 officers from our Road Crime Team stopped a silver Honda Civic on Amington Road, Tamworth.

Upon approaching the vehicle officers could smell cannabis so a roadside drugs swipe was conducted for which the driver tested positive.

The 37 year old male, from Tamworth, was arrested for drug driving.

He has since been released under investigation.
