MALE ARRESTED IN CANNOCK FOLLOWING DRUGS WIPE

#Arrest | This evening, officers attended Cannock Chase Leisure Centre following reports of a group of vehicles gathering at the location, with some being driven in an anti-social manner.

On arrival, officers witnessed one vehicle performing a donut in the car park. The vehicle was stopped, and a roadside drug test was carried out. The driver tested positive for cannabis and has been arrested. 

Meeting friends in a car park is not an issue; however, driving in an anti-social or dangerous manner is unacceptable, particularly whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Such behaviour puts others at risk and has a negative impact on the local community.
