Yesterday, I sent out a smart alert appealing for any information regarding a burglary/car theft in the Seagram Close area of Uttoxeter. After making enquiries locally for CCTV, along with other forces/officers and other policing departments, two males from the West Midlands have been arrested. The Stolen car has been located and the vehicle the offenders were driving has been located and seized for further enquiries. Our efforts don't stop here, gathering evidence, forensics and digital information will still continue to hopefully gain a significant sentence for the offenders. These arrests were made directly because of information gained from our local residents and Police working proactively together to bring an investigation to a successful point. Our investigative departments will continue to process this crime.
