🚨Appeal for Information – Motorcycle Theft - Lichfield Road - Stone🚨

We are appealing for information regarding an attempted theft of a motorcycle at The Crossings, Stone, which occurred at approximately 3:00am on Thursday 15th January, and a theft of a motorcycle from Lichfield Road, Stone, which is believed to have occurred shortly afterwards. 

The motorcycle stolen from Lichfield Road was later found burnt out in a park off Copeland Drive at approximately 04:30am.

If you witnessed anything suspicious in these areas around the times stated, have CCTV, dashcam, or any other information that could assist, please contact the police on 101 (non-emergency) or reply to this message and quote incident ref:SP-20260115-0372

Motorcycle Crime Prevention Advice

• Use a disc lock, chain, or D-lock (ideally more than one).
• Secure your motorcycle to a fixed object where possible.
• Park in a well-lit, visible area or garage.
• Consider using a cover to keep the bike out of sight.
• Install or use alarms, immobilisers, or trackers.
• Remove keys and do not leave spare keys nearby.
