Appeal for information - Motorcycle Theft - Flaxman Close, Barlaston

Dear Residents,

We would like to make you aware of a motorcycle theft that occurred on Flaxman Close, Barlaston, between approximately 03:00am and 04:00am on Sunday 18th January 2026.

The motorcycle was later found burnt out in a nearby field close to Flaxman Close.

We are currently seeking help to identify three unknown persons believed to be involved:

- Two persons riding pedal cycles

- One person pushing the motorcycle

If you witnessed anything suspicious during this time, have CCTV, doorbell footage, dash-cam footage, or have any information that may assist, please contact the police on 101, make a report online, or reply to this message and quote incident ref: SP-20260118-0139.

Motorcycle Crime Prevention Advice

• Use a disc lock, chain, or D-lock (ideally more than one).
• Secure your motorcycle to a fixed object where possible.
• Park in a well-lit, visible area or garage.
• Consider using a cover to keep the bike out of sight.
• Install or use alarms, immobilisers, or trackers.
• Remove keys and do not leave spare keys nearby.
