Hi All, On 24/01/2026, Staffordshire police officers attended Lightwood Road and conducted a police operation checking vehicles to ensure drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts as well as checking the conditions of the vehicle. Due to recent issues in the area, where driver, passengers and children are not wearing seat belts and cars driving dangerous along Lightwood Road. Staffordshire police issued 4 penalty notices which would include fines , points for for children and drivers not correctly restrained/ no seatbelt. Further to this one driver was given adversary warning for there tyres to get changed and another driver was given a warning to get the number plate changed. Kind Regards, |
