đź‘® Policing and Social Media đź’» |

Important Message from Your Local Police TeamThere has been a number of occasions where I have had meetings or visited members of the public, where they have mentioned that incidents are being put on social media sights. Please be aware: the police do not monitor social media platforms for reports of crime or suspicious activity. This includes: Posting concerns or incidents on social media does not mean the police will see them or be able to respond.
How to Report Something ProperlyIf you see something suspicious, are a victim of crime, or need police assistance, please report it using the correct channels: For emergencies or when a crime is happening now, or there is immediate danger. For non-emergencies, such as reporting a crime that has already happened or ongoing concerns. Use the “Report” tab on the Staffordshire Police website to report incidents, concerns, or provide information online.
