Staffordshire Police are reminding residents to protect their vehicles, as offenders continue to use both modern and traditional methods to commit vehicle crime.

🔑 Keyless vehicles

• Keep keys away from doors and windows
• Use signal‑blocking (Faraday) pouches where possible
• Lock vehicles manually and check they are secure
• Disable keyless entry if your vehicle allows

🔒 Traditional vehicle security still matters

• Always lock your vehicle, even for short stops
• Remove valuables and bags from view
• Use physical deterrents such as steering wheel or pedal locks
• Park in well‑lit areas or on driveways
• Secure garages, sheds, and outbuildings
