Teenager arrested following robbery

A teenager has been arrested following a robbery in Stoke-on-Trent.

At around 3.30pm on Sunday (8 February), a boy was approached by two suspects on a canal towpath near Millvale Street, Middleport.

They told the victim to give them his bike.

When he refused, he was threatened with a knife and his bike was taken.

A 16-year-old boy, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

He has been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
