Appeal after chickens stolen

We are appealing for information after 20 chickens were stolen from a number of outbuildings in Stoke-on-Trent.

We were called at 10am on Tuesday (10 February) to a property in Fenton following reports of a burglary.

A total of 20 chickens, including 10 hens, had been stolen from a number of sheds.

The theft is believed to have taken place sometime between 4.30pm on Sunday (8 February) and 9am on Monday (9 February).

The chickens are described as Oxford Old English Game.

We are conducting inquiries locally and urge anyone with information, relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to call us on 101 quoting incident number 189 of 10 February.
