TAMWORTH MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS AND WEAPONS OFFENCES

A man has been charged with drug supply and weapon offences in Tamworth after we found suspected crack cocaine and two knuckle dusters.

Donny Hart, 52, of Belgrave, Tamworth, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a heroin, possession of crack cocaine and heroin, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, one count of driving while disqualified and one count of driving a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team searched two homes in Tamworth in the early hours of Tuesday (10 February).

Hart appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Wednesday 11 February), where he wads remanded in custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday 13 March.
