Appeal following fatal collision on A500

We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We were called at 4.35am this morning (Saturday 14 February) to reports of a serious collision involving a grey Jaguar and a white MAN lorry on the A500 near to junction 16.

The driver of the car, a man, sadly died at the scene.

His family are being supported by specialist officers.

We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.
