Appeal following collision involving pedestrian and car

We are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Stoke-on-Trent.

At 7.20pm on Saturday 7 February, we were called to the incident on Stoke Road, Shelton.

It involved a black Skoda Fabia and a boy.

The boy was taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition today (Monday 16 February).

The driver of the Skoda stayed at the scene to help us with our enquiries.

West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
